Android KitKat 4.4 Update
The Android 4.4.4 seems to be majorly for security fixes. It addresses issues within the Open SSL protocol to give protection from Heartbleed bug, which caused major security issue earlier this year. The Android 4.4.4 KitKat update is now available over-the-air for the Nexus 5. Users can check to see if the update is available for their device by accessing Settings > About Phone > System Updates. Advanced users can download the update file for the Nexus 4,Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 and install it manually. Imp- Taking a backup of data is strongly recommended before using the factory image, as it resets the device. If you haven’t received the update so far, it is advised to have patience and wait for the OTA update.  Motorola Solutions Inc.  also announced that once update gets approved, likely  within the next five to six weeks then a number of its devices will update to Android 4.4.4 directly , skipping the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update .
