A lot of rumors are flooding over the internet about the highly spiked and much awaited new generation Apple iPhone 6. According to the online sources, the upcoming Apple’s iPhone 6 will be launched in 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch models. Both of these models may get launched together or there are chances that 4.7 inch model will hit the shelves before the Apple iPhone 6- 5.5 inch due to difficulties in mass production of in-cell touch-screens of 5.5inch model. The expected date of launch is either 15th or 19th Sept, 2014.

Both iPhone 6 series models are expected to have the same specifications except the screen size. The 4.7-inch model comes with a resolution of 1920x1080p and 441ppi where as the bigger 5.5-inch model comes with a resolution of 2272x1280p and 510ppi. On the rear side it will hold a camera of 8MP and on front side it will come with a camera of 3.2MP. The NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are the added features along with 4G LTE support. Both models will be powered by Apple’s 64-bit A8 chipset coupled with 1GB RAM and will be available with storage options of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. For a better power backup, iPhone 6 will come with 1800mAh battery.
According to a survey, the sale of iPhone 6 (5.5-inch) model is expected to be more that of the 4.7 inch model as iPhone users always look for exclusivity. The latest update about the iPhone 6 has also revealed the price tags of the most awaited phones of 2014. The 4.7 inch iPhone series will be starting at a price of Rs 52,000 for 16GB version and the 5.5-inch model will be available at a price close to Rs 58,000( 16GB).
It is believed that that iPhone 6 will be a game changer for Apple’s decreasing sale in the market. Let’s see how efficiently does it takes on its rivals Google and Samsung.
