James Proud’s starter company 'Hello Inc.' has introduced this 'Sense' sleep monitor. Sense monitors you sleep pattern automatically and at the same time it identifies the factors that disturbs it. It monitors if your room is ideal for sleeping on the basis of conditions like the light, noise, temperature and humidity inside the room. If your sleep gets disturbed even for 10 secs by any noise like talking, snoring etc., then it records it automatically. The inbuilt sensor warns you if it detects rise of any particulate matter in the air that can lead to nasal allergies.

Sense looks like a small spherical orbit. The complete package of Sense contains three components in total. Spherical orb. sensor, a small clip-on called the 'Sleep Pill' inside which there is a six-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, and the last component is it's compatible app. for iOS and Android. The sleeping pill is a small clip-on which gets attached to the user's pillow for monitoring purpose. The 'Sense' and the ' Sleeping Pill' communicates with each other via low energy Bluetooth and ANT. The app. gives us the graphical interface of monitoring, settings and the most important this is the ' overall sleep score' in the morning. Based on your scores from 1-100, you can figure out how well you are sleeping every night, and also on the basis of disturbing factors you can figure out ways to improve your sleep pattern.

Like Coolest Cooler, Frebble, pd.id and other starter companies, 'Hello' is also raising its funds for ' Sense' through Kicktarter- public funding organisation. According to the online resources, Hello has already raised nearly seven times of its initial target of $100,000. Hello is offering Sense monitor and a Sleep Pill for  $129 during pre-order and at shipping is expected to start from Novenber this year.
