Ooze The Brauhaus, is the place where we go to have crafted beer, regularly! It's a microbrewery in sector 9 of Panchkula.
Ooze (means a thick, viscous matter), It is the place to be if you want to have economical beer with nice ambiance and 'thumbs up' snacks! There is another brewery in the same line - Hops & Grains - but we seldom go there! The beer is nice at both the places, but Hops & Grains is a little on the expensive side, plus it has a separate place for couples. They say that fun manifolds if you have the opposite gender sitting around you consuming the same thing as you are! LOL! Anyhow, I (and many of my friends) find Ooze to be a better option because it is slightly on an economical side, serves nice snacks, and provides free Wi-Fi (one of my friends uses their Wi-Fi to download! LOL)! Plus, Ooze also provides one plus one on pitcher during happy hours, which H&G doesn't! H&G has happy hours only on mugs! Thumbs down! :(
The ambiance of Ooze is pretty nice and comfortable. Watching your favorite match is a fun there, while having beer! There are times, they say, they have live music (which I just found on their Facebook page) which can be another nice thing while having beer. Talking about snacks, I, particularly, like their Veg. Parmesan Pasta in white sauce. Pilsner and Ale are my favorites in Ooze as far as beers are concerned.
If you go with a friend who has a nice capacity to drink, you can go for a pitcher (1,500 ml) (you get one free in happy hours!); else, I would suggest you to go for 500-ml mugs, two 500-ml would be sufficient to give you enough kick. As far as other drinks are concerned, we have never tried having anything except beer, for crafted beer is the specialty of microbreweries. I have been to Ooze multiple times now, with almost every friend circle. All of my friends like the place - including the music, beer, ambiance, snacks, service, etc.
Ooze has a separate zone if you feel like smoking - outside! Beer and snacks can be served outside, too, but you would miss the music, dim light, and conditioned air in the outside setting. I would suggest the outside seating only on cool, rainy days; else, prefer inside.
Overall, Ooze is a nice place to hang out with your friends. I enjoy being there! In fact, Rohan plans to throw his birthday party this Friday at Ooze!
