Designer - Si Hyeong Ryu adds a concept treadmill called “The Wheel” to the world of technology. As of know it is just a concept, it’s unique design looks more like a hamster wheel on which you can run to burn calories, and while you are doing that it automatically washes your dirty clothes. It has a flexible display in the front to provide a good visual experience for the treadmill user.

All you have to do is to fill the wheel with detergent, water and dirty clothes and jog. The resulting motion will fuel the canisters into spinning action. This motion will in turn set the laundry into action like a washing machine. If you have some fitness freak at home, he will do the job of burning calories and washing clothes at the same time. If you have few clothes and want to run more, then you can save energy for the days when you do not want to run but only wash clothes.
Just imagine if you own a gymnasium, you may want to open a laundry as well. Turn people’s effort into money! Lol!
The overall concept of this treadmill is a great combination of gym bike and a washing machine. Now “The Wheel” has entered 2014 Electrolux Design Lab competition in which designers and artists from all around the world are challenged to reinvent and rethink. The theme for this year's competition is "The Home of Tomorrow".
