South Korean Multinational Conglomerate Company, Samsung, launches its new Galaxy Tab S LTE 10.5 and 8.4 in India. Available on Samsung India official website, Galaxy Tab S LTE 10.5 comes with a price tag of Rs.44,800 and the 8.4 version is launched for Rs.37,800. The upper edge is that both of these LTE versions support 4G Network LTE 800/ 900/ 1800/ 2600.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S LTE 10.5-inch version is powered by a 7,900mAh battery, while the 8.4-inch LTE model comes with a 4,900mAh battery. Both tablets run on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and Samsung has implemented its TouchWiz UI, along with its new Magazine UX.
The Samsung Tab S series come with 16M colors Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is absolutely ready to take on its rivals iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display. The 8.4-inch model gives 359 PPI and the 10.5-inch model gives 288 PPI of Pixel densities.
Both variants are available in 16GB and 32G internal storage capacity, expandable upto 128 MB via microSD card. 3GB RAM coupled with Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 Processor on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Chipset give equal power to both the tabs.
On the rear side, both have 8-megapixel camera with flash and a 2.1-megapixel camera is located in the front along with a Fingerprint Sensor as a common feature. The Tab S 8.4 comes with a Dimension of 212.8 x 125.6 x 6.6 mm and weighs 298grams, whereas Tab S 10.5 measures 247.3 x 177.3 x 6.6 mm and weighs 467grams. Both of them have Wireless cards are capable of connecting over Wi-Fi Direct for much quicker transfer files. The User Interface is surprisingly quick and provides fluid MultiWindow mode. Like Windows OS, the OS on the tab allows you to create upto 8 user profiles so that all family members can use this tab just by logging on to their profile with the help of finger Print Scanner.
Technically these tabs look quite convincing but lets see how soon it multiplies the numbers for Samsung.
