India has become one of the major countries with high business potential. And this potential is definitely bringing a high competition in the market. Recently, Mercedes-Benz came also came up with Limited Edition cars, Toyota India launched Etios Cross and also relaunched its Etios Xclusive Limited Edition in the Indian car market. When every company is doing so much, why would Nissan sit at the back seat? Let’s check out what’s new with Nissan.
Nissan Sunny Facelift 
Nissan came up with Sunny sedan in 2011 and it has been selling in the same form since then. In order to give a push to its sales and give a designer look to its product, Nissan unveiled Sunny facelift version for the Indian market at the 2014 Auto Expo.  Now Sunny Facelift is ready to be driven on the busy Indian roads.
The updated model of the mid-sized sedan has two engine options and three trim levels. It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 98bhp and 134Nm of torque while the diesel engine produces 85bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both engines comes with 5-speed manual transmission and the petrol variant is also offered with an optional CVT gearbox.

Looking at the new 2014 Nissan Sunny from the front side, it includes a revised design for the grille as well as the headlights, new fog lamps, a new pair of alloys and a small bootlid spoiler with a stoplight. The sides of car look almost the same but base of the rear end has been raised and covered with a plastic lip for sportier appearance.

Inside the cabin, it comes with a redesigned steering wheel with audio controls and telephony, and centre console gets piano black finish. Push button start, airbags on driver side, ABS, EBD and Brake Assist are standard features whereas the top-end variant of the Sunny facelift is offered with rear AC vent as well.
The new facelift Sunny starts with 7.29 Lakh and goes upto Rs 10 lakh on the upper side. Keeping the features and the price in mind, it will compete with the new Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen- Vento and the new Ford Fiesta.
