1. Wireless Connectivity: It has always been a fun to use someone else’ unsecured network for free; however it is very unsafe especially when it is used for accessing your secured information like online banking, business emails,  Facebook account, etc. You may use it at some mobile shop, Airport, Coffee shop and other places just for checking some online information on a website or anything which does not involves your personal data.
2. Source of installation: Do not install any app from an unknown source, unless you are sure it is safe or some known person has already used it. You can also check the number of downloads and reviews from google play before downloading any app.
3. Bluetooth: Keep the Bluetooth of your phone off when not in use. Make sure that do not share data from anyone who does not use any Security software, otherwise your phone may be also get affected by virus.  Keeping it off will also safe the battery of your phone.
4. Strong Encryption:  Ensure that you lock your phone with strong password. Do not share it with anyone and prefer using a number rather than a pattern. Someone sitting next to you can easily remember pattern with the movement of your hands.
5. Security Software: Always have an App like Android Device Manager on your phone. Android Device Manager locates lost devices and helps you keep your device - and the data inside it - safe and secure. Android Device Manager lets you locate Android devices associated with your Google account, reset your device's screen lock PIN, erase all data on the phone.
