Android kitKat 4.4 was launched in last September and just few days back, Android 4.4.3 KitKat update have started rolling on to Android based 4.4.2 phones. While this update is already in picture, rumours are that another version of version of Android OS will be launched soon, which could be either Android 4.5 or 5.0 Lollipop. If we go alphabetically, so far then Honeycomb,  Ice Cream, KitKat  and newer version might be Lollipop.  More details about it would be revealed after Google's I/O developer conference at the end of this month.
Android Lollipop
The exact details about the new version are not out yet; however, according to few online sources and leaks, this is what we are expecting out of it:

1. Google Babble: After the acquisition of WhatsApp, Facebook is has becomes a leader in the messaging Apps. Now in order to give a tuff competition to the leader, Google might come up with Google Babble in this new OS. Google Babble App will be a combination of GTalk, Google Hangout messanger and its other communication Apps from Google. This App is already available on Google Play Store. All in all it will be somewhat like WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat and Line.
2. Wearables:  Google has recently launched Google Glass and may launch few more wearable’s like smart watches and gadgets to maintain health after few months.  In order to make them work insync with the phone Android Lollipop may have some inbuilt app.
3. Bug Fixes and Optimization: Bug fixes and optimization will also be focussed in the upcoming OS. Couple of bugs which were not fixed by the 4.4.3 KitKat update as reported by the users may also get completely fixed in the new OS.
4. Security Features: Though Android is one of the largest used OS on the smartphones, however its security features are still not upto the mark. So the new Android Lollipop would have some added security features like newer version of Facial recognition App, Finger print scanner and additional warnings while selection the Apps from the Google Play Store.
5. Battery Life: Poor battery life has always been a major issue in Android OS. So the new Android Lollipop may have some technology of processing the data faster to save battery for better backup.
