In highly competitive Android market, Taiwanese-American computer hardware and electronics company ASUS, announced a range of ZenFone series Smartphones during CES 2014 event earlier this year. The ZenFone series was launched in the month of April 2014 in China; however, as per the online sources these phones will be launched in India during the second week of July.

Asus ZenFone Series will have ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 smartphones. All three of them supports Dual SIM cards and will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS but the company hinted about an Android 4.4 KitKat update at the earliest.

The Asus ZenFone 4 is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading Technology, a 4-inch WVGA display, 1 GB RAM and an internal space of 4 GB expandable upto 64 GB using a microSD card. It will have a 5 MP rear camera, a 0.3 MP front camera, and a battery of capacity 1170mAh. Along with the dimensions of 124.4x61.4x11.2-6.3mm, the phone will be available in 5 colors- red, white, black, blue and yellow.

Asus ZenFone 5 is powered by a 2 GHz dual-core 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 with Quad-Thread Hyper-Threading technology, a 5 inch IPS technology display, 1 GB and an internal space of 8 GB, expandable upto 64 GB using microSD card. It has a front camera of 8 MP and rear camera of 2 MP, and a battery of 2050mAh capacity. Along with the dimensions of 148.2 x 72.8 x 10.3-5.5mm in size, the phone will be available in 4 colours- black, white, red and gold.

Asus ZenFone 6 will have a 6 inches display with a 13 MP rear and a 2 MP front camera. It has a greater battery of 3230 mAh capacity and biggest size measuring 166.9 x 84.3 x 9.9-5.5mm. Rest of the specification are almost similar to Asus ZenFone 5.

The exact prices of these smartphones will be declared close to the launch; however, this series may be launched roughly between 13,000 - 18,000 rupees in India.
