Matilde, a Japanese Brand, introduced Matilde’s Fun’iki glasses  in CNET Japan’s live 2014 event. The Fun’iki Smart glasses do not have a camera like Google Glass, making it look absolutely like regular wear glasses. The glasses connect to you smartphone via Bluetooth and all the settings can be controlled by installing a user friendly app. With standard glasses along with the frame Fun’iki weighs only 38.5 grams. You can charge these glasses using a micro-USB port fixed at the end of left arm. Lithium-ion battery fitted inside the glass gives a backup of two days when fully charged.

There is an ambient light sensor, a small speaker, LED’s and a power On/Off switch on the frame. When you get any notification like a message, call or a reminder on your phone, these LED’s will blink in different colors, according to modes ranging from “disco” and “party” to “relax.”
If we look at the functionality then Fun’iki glasses work in a much different manner than Google Glass, but in comparison they are also much cheaper. Their offer price is 15,000 yen ($147 approx); however, the sale will begin later as per the online sources.
