Google Nexus handsets were the first devices to received Android 4.4.4 KitKat update just two weeks ago. Motorola also promised these updates on the Motorola handsets very soon. So keeping up their promise, Motorola has started releasing the update to Android 4.4.4 KitKat for Moto X, Moto G and Moto E smartphones.

Users from Brazil were the first ones to receive the notification of the update via OTA.  According to the sources, Google Play Edition Moto G had received the update yesterday in other countries and within a few weeks the update is expected to be rolled out for Moto X and Moto E as well.

KitKat 4.4.4 Update Notification
This update will bring an updated phone dialer with a new layout and colors for Moto E to get better consistency and usability. On the other hand, Moto G will have a new pause video recording feature on the viewfinder, and access to Motorola Alert app that sends alerts with the user's location to the selected contacts. And Moto X would have camera enhancements for  better photos in low light conditions. It will also include several stability, framework and security fixes.

Just like other countries, Motorola India has also made an announcement on Twitter about the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for its Moto E, Moto G and Moto X Smartphones in India. Motorola handset owners can expect this update to be rolled out on their handsets in couple of weeks.
