Blurry vision is a common problem among people across the world. There are people who use glasses only while working on laptop or watching TV and majority of people suffering from eye sight issue wear eye glasses all the time. Only few lucky people do not face any eye sight problem throughout their life time. The discovery of eye glasses resolved this issue to a great extent, and nowadays contact lenses and laser surgery are the most adopted methods.

Few visionary researchers from MIT , University of California, Berkeley along with Microsoft engineers have developed of a prototype glass that could automatically correct the image to compensate the defect in the eye sight of the user. That means you will not need your eye glasses to get a clear image from your television or your computer screen.
Prototype Display Glass Testing
This technology works on the basis of your eyeglass prescription for the adjustment of filter in the front of display.  It works on the pixel-level for creating a sharper image on the retina and thus automatically sets the focus. This technology is still prototype and requires lot of improvement. It’s good for those who use eye glasses only for watching TV, working on computer or any screen based gadget but for people who use glasses all the time, it is not at all an appropriate option as of now. For eg- Just imagine that you are watching TV without glasses and you get up to go to your kitchen for water, you lose the clear image. Would you life to wear your glasses again for moving around? Moreover, if it needs to get adjusted according to the prescription of eye doctor, then what about other family member who uses the same laptop or TV?

Developers of this prototype glass are still working on fixing the list of expected issues which users can come across. So, it might take more than a year before this glass is launched to be a part of our electronic gadgets.
