American Motorcycle Manufacturer, Harley-Davidson Motor Company unveiled its first masterpiece of electric motorcycle with Project LiveWire. Harley-Davidson fans across the country may get a chance take this hog for a ride during the Project LiveWire Experience Tour. It begins on June 24 in New York City and the Motorcycle will be showcased in Milwaukee, Wisc., from June 26 until June 29 and in Boston, Mass., from June 27 until June 29.

Keeping in mind the excellent reputation earned in over 100 Years of Motorcycle Manufacturing, Harley Davidson’s Project LiveWire is specifically designed with a purpose of knowing the rider’s expectations from an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The collective feedback will be taken seriously before LiveWire becomes available for sale. LiveWire has been in development for about four years, and the company did not reveal how long it might be before it prepares a new version but it is expected to be available by 2016.

The new electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire currently being road-tested and as reported in one of the blog has given a top speed of 92mph. It comes with AC Induction motor which produces 52 lb-ft of torque and is capable of going from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds. than four seconds, and its AC Induction motor produces 52 lb-ft of torque. Harley Engineers always wanted this electric hog sound different, powerful, satisfying and all in all mind-blowing. So, after making sufficient arrangement in the gear box and motor they made it sound like a jet plane.

Harley-Davidson has always been a passion for motorcycle lovers and I am sure that the Project Livewire will create another history in the Motorcycle Industry.
