The Yamaha FZ series has been one of hot favourites Yamaha bike of youngsters in India. Owners appreciate its smooth and powerful ride, style and the overall dynamics. On the other side it also known for its high fuel consumption.  Yamaha decided to work on this issue and come up with newer versions of FZ. These refreshed versions are named FZ-S FI V2.0 and the FZ FI V2.0 by Yamaha.

Both FZ-S V2 and FZ V2 are 150cc motorcycles and weigh 3 kg lesser than the older Yamaha FZ models. Thanks to Yamaha’s ‘BlueCore’  technology initiative, which gave these newer versions almost 14% of extra fuel efficiency.  With new fuel injection system it develops a max power output of 13.1PS and the peak torque 12.8Nm. Mechanically not much changed, the gearbox stays the same 5 gear unit with the same cycle parts.

FZ Version 2.0 will be available for Rs 76,250 and the FZ-S Version 2.0 for Rs 78,250 (ex-showroom) price in Delhi. The new color schemes and the color combinations by the designers, give a new style to both FZ-S V2 and FZ V2 cosmetically. Split grab rails, and a tyre hugging splatter guard are new add-ons which gives pretty sporty look to both the models.
